I do think so. I would MUCH rather that the issue stay between Colin, myself, and I; and not be brought into 75884 weather and other message boards.

It's not that I'm angry at everything and everyone; it's just that I have some things going on right now that are kind of hard to deal with.

Work is kind of tough. I'm not getting stuff done on the home front (i.e. here at home) because I'm now out 6 hours a day due to work (heck I bet I got MORE done when I DIDN't work!). I'm just a mess right now, and the slightest thing can sometimes not set well with me. One moment I will be ecstatic; then someone at work can tell me to straighten the floor and I will start getting upset. Just like that, for no reason at all.

No one does jack there, I bust my arse and it (my efforts) are going nowhere it seems like. Both at work and on the internet. The store keeps looking like dirt, there are ditzy workers there, there are not enough people to get stuff done (but FINALLY they got the decency to start hiring about two days ago! :) ) ... you can hopefully see where I am coming from here.

I've just wondered why you haven't responded to any of my PM's is all...
it's stressed me out. Colin, may have to look for another Technical Admin if his site is to keep going smoothly. :)

I haven't brought it to 75884 weather and other message boards and DON'T plan to either, rest assured.

Wow, this is a powerful thread. I just started coming to off topic a few weeks back, and I hope that it would be okay to add myself to the prayer request line.

My doctor is pretty sure I have breast cancer. I go to the surgeon tomorrow afternoon. I am a single mom and I have 2 sons, one in college and one still in highshcool. I am scared.

Also, I have been unemployed since February and have no insurance. I am going for a job interview tomorrow at 10. This would give me insurance AND a living wage.

I am only 49 and still have much to do here. Thank you for being here for me on this dark night of my soul.

To keep this from being our chat room, you can feel free to pray for me if you want since I kind of said the issues at hand if you do so desire. :)

(also inform Colin that I've said all I need to say to him right now, in case he misses these last few posts)

I only posted a simple prayer request because I care and because we have other S2K Prayer Warriors who care, too, Bro. :)

That's all. :)

:) ((((HUG)))) I'll be praying for your other requests, too, Bro.

I miss my job greatly that I had in Roanoke Rapids. :( Think about ALL my friends back there daily. :)

Raleigh can really stress one out w/ it's issues like driving/traffic, etc.

That's the city for you, Bro. I'm right next to the biggest street in town. It's so big that buses run on it 24-7 (they don't stop at night); that the bus system has to use the double buses (they join two buses into one) and even run two or sometimes three buses right behind one another because so many people rely on public transportation around here. Probably because it's Harbor Bl.; the street that Disneyland is on. (other side of the county from me though)

That being Roanoke Rapids...*wishful thinking for me that is* :)

When riding along w/ my Dad driving in Raleigh...his on-the-road habits don't help either at times...just exacerbates a situation.

Oh, I've seen drivers give other drivers "the bird" here. Also I've given THEM "the bird" ... which doesn't help any I suppose.

This is a prayer request thread after all so I suppose we should cease the chatting :P .

No hand gestures...just aggressive driving at times...following too closely...trying to beat yellow lights at times.

Yes, sorry for the getting off-topic here, S2K folks.

I don't beat YELLOW lights. I beat and run RED lights. But only on my bike, and only in crosswalks.

Also another prayer request - my mom's job situation. Shehad an interview a couple of weeks ago and was supposed to hear something by Friday (past). I didn't hear anything yesterday so I don't know what's up. :(

my request got buried up there, so I am asking again for prayers. I am really scared.

Prayers coming from West Houston for each of you.

Brian-asking for relief and comfort for your Step aunt and family as well as comfort for you as you stres about their situation.

Josh-praying for relief of the difficult situations in your life, especially with friends and work. Also praying that the job hunt situation improves for your Mom.

Windsong-EXTRA HEAVY PRAYERS FOR YOU as you go through this very difficult time!! Ma Go's healing hand come down on you this day and give you comfort a healing as needed.

Me? I just have a simple sinus infection, but I feel lousy. My problem pales compared to others. May God grant each of you his peace, healing and comfort.

Ummm... health concerns (my health)... Kendra and I are married in November... and I tranfer to NC State for Meteorology. Also please pray for our country, citizens of Iraq, Palestinians and Israelis, and for the terrorists themselves...... pray that they see their horrible, abhorrent actions for what they are.

URGENT:

My Mom just had a call from my Dad's sister in Indiana saying that my cousin Kurt's wife Connie has been diagnosed w/ lymphoma and that she sees her oncologist for another appointment on August 5th. :(
She's not able to hold anything down and has been having severe diarrhea and is very weak! :( She's in her mid 30s and she and Kurt have a daughter (who is grade school age) named Katie. Connie also has a son Branden and daughter Jessica (both high school age) from her first marriage.

Will keep you all updated after we hear what's been learned on Aug. 5th.
