I do not consider the Senate floor a public place (have you ever tried to get in???) and the comment was directed at Leahy, and Leahy only.
As I highlighted above...this was, as you stated a "leak", not intended for the eyes and ears of all America.
It was not laid on the table for little Joey to read and giggle over.

I am getting dizzy.

God-Almighty - I blink and this topic grew 3 pages within mere minutes it seems like! One minute we were talking about trailers and the next.....well, as some of you have noticed, I don't discuss politics.....LOL

Anyways, I'm definitely dizzy from this topic!!! What I got mostly was: trailer debate, political debate/views and j was distracted at work today!!!!

I need to start dinner.....see ya all. Been awhile since a topic really got heated around here (unless I'm rather clueless, he he).

It matters not... the fact that you try to use technicalities to somehow prove that his spewing of profanity was less of a problem than this incident indicates you are being hopelessly partisan.

So So So So?

Your point?

Are you going to contribute to the topic, Chad? Or just continue attacking me?

Easy. O'Reilly doesn't let his guest get a word in edgewise. He tells them to SHUDDUP. And he does that quite often. They all do, the right-wing radio gasbags. The moment someone starts to make a point, they cut him off then ridicule whatever comes to mind. Hannity on tv too.

Teresa was the guest being 'cut off', so she told him to 'shove it' and left. She didn't even raise her voice. (unlike O'Reilly)

Much like Cheney telling Leahy to f*off when he was being pestered about his Halliburton deals.

O'Reilly is not right wing.
This is quite clear considering many of his views do not represent Republicans in general. Many of them don't represent Democrats in general either. He is Independent. If you watch his show, then you should also have noticed that he cuts off people (of any party affiliation) if they start spinning the issue. (No Spin Zone) It's not his fault more Democrats spin. ;)

I have read and stand by my statement, and have yet to hear a reasonable argument as to how a candidate's wife telling a harrassing reporter to "shove it" is somehow in a different league of offenses than the Vice President using the very word his administration has worked to have banned from the media with swift penalties for violators, and albeit not said to a member of the press, to a large enough "audience" that it quickly became common knowledge.

Please elaborate.

One last time and I'll leave it at this!

Forget it Md, there are none so blind as those who would not see...

As if one of our conservative friends would ever concede foul language coming from their fearless leader. (you're shaming them)

Now perhaps if it was considered 'manly' ...?

But these are not exactly the values a Republican would embrace. Not realistic at all.

The issue here is Heinz telling a reporter to shove it. But when Jenna Bush stuck her tongue out at the liberal media who bashed the President (Her Father) you all were quick to judge. ESPECIALLY you Kiko. And when everyone counters you, you holler attack. The spin is quite obvious here.

No sense in arguing with that though Chad. THAT is what happens when they are cornered.

Judge? It was a sassy thing for a Bright Young Thing to do. That was the sum of what I thought of that issue. Ok, if that's a judgement...

As for being cornered, you're reaching now. Is that where you go when you can't say what's on your mind?

Why won't you or Chad address the issue instead of attacking the opposition? (me or whoever cares to defend Teresa)

And yes, I will defend myself if that's the best you can do. It's hardly being cornered.

My mistake... for some reason I thought the quote I included in my last post was in response to a previous quote of mine... I'm so dizzy I'm seeing things.

Yes, in this case, two wrongs don't make a right, but it does show that both sides are fallible and do the same thing that they accuse the other side of.

Now, if we can ever get past the finger pointing, perhaps we can get somethings accomplished.

Sounds like an EXCELLENT idea, Stephanie!

How about starting off by scheduling the 2008 DNC in Paris?

She was taken out of context and she told him to shove it. If Bush did it you would have applauded him for his strength of conviction, but she does it and she's a B@#$H

True BUT the media is always saying things about Bush. BIG difference. Proves my point the Dems can't handle it when the media is against them. If you can dish it out be able to take it.
