looks like we have a TD based upon the latest recon reports, now just waiting for a vortex message

There may not be a vortex...given how broad the circulation is.

They need to go to the N quad and get some winds...that's where the strongest winds will be.

I really dont understand why this was not classified. Afterall, Fay and Beryl were TROUGH AXES and were given named

I don't understand either Derek. I know I've seen worse messes becoming tropical storms. They usually search for a thunderstorm and say 'Wow! 40 mph winds in that one thunderstorm displaced a hundred miles from the center of circulation'

How about Grace? In my opinion, the EPITOME of storms that get names for some ridiculous reason such as a trough axis.
