Thanks for posting that, Jeremy! Looks like we're south of the
watch, but, the rain is coming, back to the west.

Keep an eye out, buddy!

Jeremy! Thanks for posting this important info. This watch is knocking on my door! I did a double take when I turned on the TV. I am just across the Ohio River in Ohio! About say 10 miles north? So I'm a little uneasy.

Looks like they ended up with an F2 down there in Holton.

I have some audio clips about that on my blog page:

I've seen the damage this tornado did in Holton on local news. It's a wonder no one was killed! One poor woman was tossed around in her mobile home as it turned over twice. So glad she's going to be alright.

What a scary night Friday was! I don't any of us here in the Cincinnati area got decent sleep. Storms all night long. I woke up Saturday morning feeling as if we hadn't even gone to sleep! Our power went off for about an hour, I was worried our newly finished (hard work we did ourselves) basement would get damaged if the battery operated back up sump pump didn't work. But it did! Emitted a wonderful faint alarm too - the silly things that make you feel so relieved - here I was finding my way in the storage area of our basement, in pj's and flashlight, to make sure it was dry down there.

But that doesn't compare to the poor people of Holton. Sure feel for them. Damage was estimated just under $500,000 in that area.

Man that is still quite a bit of monetary damage, particulary for a small town such as that. I'm sure that they will be able to recover. God speed to them :)
