A "MUST" read

WELL.....I "KNOW" beyond a shadow of a doubt, I'm gonna get BLASTED for this BUT HEY 8-) My father in law gave us a book on Friday, the book?
Are you READY? Micheal Moores' "Dude, where's my country!" Talk about an EYE OPENER :eek:

Ya know....there's some credance to "ALL" the old timers thoughts, EVERY SINGLE elder, anyone over 80, "HATES" Bush with a passion, take for instance, my father, father in law....you want to keep peace in a family? Don't EEEEEEVEN talk about BUSH to them "LOL!"

That sounds like my father in law. 1000% ANTI-Bush and life-long democrat. At times he has a tendency to make michael moore look like a conservative. lol

And Is EXTREMELY outspoken about it

Good.. I like when you guys admit that you like and Listen To Michael Moore.. It shows just how dead wrong and how dead Left you are.

And as far as your Elders Hate bush.. Well what do you expect.. The Dems have been using scare tactics on them for years! Very sad

Most of the elders that I know are 100% conservative, without a shadow of a doubt. But hey, that's just my experience.

COME ON NOW BRO! Don't you KNOW your 'appose to RESPECT your elders? After ALL....they have been thru MORE S*** than ANY of us can EVER imagine, they've SEEN things you and I will NEVER see..they've lived a TOUGH life, been thru the depression.......I for one, BELIEVE in my elders and have a GREAT deal of respect for them. ANYWAYS...like my father always tells me, "Don't talk politics or religion, they're just like(edit), everyone has one and most ARE!"

Dennis,

I am surprised that someone like yourself...cagey, independent to a fault and a man of faith and character, could be so swayed by Moore's "documentary" and book.

I've seen the flick; read the book, too, and they are rife with Moore's usual half-truths, omissions and outright hatred of anything, and anyone, who's to the "right" of Vladimir Ilyich (Ulyanov) Lenin.

Moore's condescension and disdain for "we, the people" is so blatant, arrogant and unvarnished that...again, Dennis, I am surprised. :larrow:

First off, let me say, I know when I'm out numbered, I've always been the ODD MAN out because of my opposing views and my ability to "Tell it like it is!". With that said, I hear by promise NOT to speak my mind, NOT to get involved in ANY kind of political debate, I WILL however, keep my opinions to myself AND....when ALL the *dirt* comes out the Bush Admin.....I WILL NOT say, "I told you so!"
