Sure looks like a S movement on the Jax radar! :eek: Must be an adjustment. Maybe?

If you take it to long range out of Charleston Alex is essentially stationary. He could be wandering around a little, but there is no sustained Southerly motion that I see.

I think you are just seeing some rain bands

Look at the Charleston Radar ...

does look like a slight NW move

The Jax looks like rainbands

Expansion?

The southward motion maybe more of the result of an expansion of the convection to south and southeast of Alex. It still looks stationary to me.

The southward extent of the convection appears to have not moved much (according to MLB radar) but it sure is getting close to the E FL coast on its W edge.
