Looks Like Number 2 is on its way

#2 Postby PuertoRicoLibre » Mon Aug 02, 2004 2:13 am

Girlfriend looks very nicely organized this morning. May be a real danger to the Lesser Antilles, perhaps even the main islands, as it rolls fast down the Central Atlantic. Derecho posted the tropical models suite several hours ago. They indicated a continued movement generally towards the west, and then west northwest when it is closer to the islands. The GDS model has been pointing to something along this scenario for several days now. Not good. I should fix those door hinges in the next couple of days. Cape Verde Season is here.

Bonnie, what a silly name for a hurricane...

"My Bonnie lies over the ocean, my Bonnie lies over the sea..."

Pretty darn appropriate to me!
