AMEN & AMEN! ALSO......you need to read Micheal Moores book "Dude, Where's my Country." This book, along with the movie 9/11, WILL tell you WHO to vote for  Sorry folks, but a vote for BUSH, is well.......

Dennis 8-)

I think he was joking Dennis.:) Nobody really takes Fahrenheit 911 by that wacko Michael Moore seriously, do they? lol

skyman...very good and well thought out post (as usual) ;)

I take Fahrenheit911 w/ a grain of salt.

However, I so find it interesting that Bush sat there for 7 minutes while our country was being attacked. Poor leadership IMO.

I'm not sure what you are referencing here. Are you talking about during the 9/11 attack? What do you propose he should have done? Ordered the other planes shot down??? And who said he sat around for 7 minutes? Oh let me guess, Michael Moore, lol. What a hoot!

BS that he sat in the "classroom." It's my understanding that he went with advisors to another room (yeah, in the school...and it was a classroom, but away from the children) to discuss things with advisors and plan a route of evacuation for him and his staff.

He didn't just "sit."

After listening to Michael Moore's interview with O'reilly, I don't place much faith in anything this idiot has to say, and certianly wouldn't waste my time watching this movie or any other movie this man ever puts out.

7 minutes....even if it was (which I doubt), what do you think the war hero would have done in this same position?

Yeah right, if there is one thing we can all agree on about Bush, it is that he is a man of action. He doesn't just sit around. Puh-leez!

There's your link.

And wasn't he reading for seven minutes BEFORE the second attack? How many of us really knew it was an attack until the second plane it? Furthermore, didn't he say (don't ask me for the link because I'm recalling from previous news) that he didn't want to upset the children and had to maintain his calm and quiet while there with them. But he was contemplating the situation (and it was not for any 7 minutes).

The first reports immediately after it happened were that it was a terrible accident and probably a small twin-engine plane. The media was talking about how the weather was clear, but maybe the pilot had a heart attack or something. As terrible as it was, nobody knew it was a terrorist attack until the 2nd plane hit.

He didn't sit around with a blank stare for an hour. lol..geez.

Let me guess -- is this one of those scenes from F 9/11 -- where MM first shows GWB getting the news and then edits in the news footage of him reading to the kids (which was filmed prior to the scene where Card whispers in GWB's ear about the second plane) to make it look as if GWB just sat on his duff?

He has shown something that's true, but edited it into a lie by changing the order of events.

Part of me feels like I ought to see this movie just to know how bad it is.

She's asking you zwyts. She hasn't seen it but it's defintely the kind of thing Michael Moore would do. I hope you're not getting your information from that quack's "movie" - you said you took it with a grain of salt.

It is in the 9/11 commission report.

Card told Bush that the SECOND tower had been hit.

Bush then sat in the room for 5-7 minutes.
