Hey guys, ever thought of this?

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

Yes, a very outstanding job...

Lol, I never said that...... but I do agree with the statement, usually

Oops... I deleted the wrong tag and gave you credit for the statement.

It is much more attractive to consolidate related ideas in individual threads, or two if necessary. Of course that means that you shouldn't post inquiries about an eye in an 11am advisory thread... but anything relating to satelitte imagery should be together, along with advisory stuff in it's own thread, and obs in their own thread. Then it's much easier to see threads which cover a different topic.

Don't get me wrong... I probably sounded my post in a way I didn't intend to. I completely agree with the limited thread idea. I've tried starting it before, mainly for foreign systems since this is our first Atlantic storm this year. What I was getting at was after one would post a bulletin, others would continue saying it was AWOL. Then another person would post the same bulletin and then another. I think we're just too excited. We need to get a few storms through our systems before things will simmer down and run more smoothly. (Not saying it won't be a bumpy road. :D )

yeah, some people need to take tranquilizers... lol!

That isn't it, since this board was created there have been multiple threads, especially when there is at least one tropical system in the Atlantic Basin.

There have been 91 threads since midnight that I can't even read the threads I want to because of the utter clutterness of the first 1 1/2 to 2 pages of topics.

Those of us who would rather not see so many threads can easily find something that 100+ other threads don't mention, which adds another
thread which may have a domino effect.

BUMP...... anyone else tired of having to scan through eighteen threads about the same things to learn about anything new? Can we consolidate 91L into a single thread, wow, lol.

Problem?????

#25 Postby bevgo » Mon Aug 02, 2004 9:20 pm

I have no problem following or enjoying each and every thread posted. I really dont care if the information is posted in one topic or several. I just enjoy hearing what others have to contribute. The information may be posted in several threads but with different twists and personal observations. I say lets not critize and just enjoy.

I see it from both sides, but I understand exactly how Randy thinks about it.
