I voted no because of what I know and see on a daily basis. I think azsnowman knows what some of the things I am talking about.

The price for a free society is vulnerablity. Think about it. Can we ever really protect ourselves from car bombers and those who intend us harm. We can't even do that in our own communities...how can we as a country!

Perhaps the financial institutions are primary targets, but then so are hundreds and thousands of other locations.

Imagine for a moment if the Federal Building in Oklahoma City WAS caused by an international hate group. What then?

We will live out our lives at risk...but then that is nothing new. Only the scope and creativity of that risk have changed over the years.

So..while I do not feel any more personally vulnerable than any one else, it is not a case of if, but when, we will be targeted and in what way.

The positive news in all this, however, is that we have been through one such episode...and that pain has made us stronger.

We just can't forget...never ever forget.
