60 degrees are winds coming from the ENE. So no signs of any circulation. However, winds are kind of high where recon is now and tropical storm force winds in the convection is a possibility.

That is a flight level wind, by the way. Look for a "4" group at the end of each report for surface winds. Here's one with a surface observation:

Wind 050 deg / 15 kts

Looks like they're heading south through the "center" now. We'll see soon if they find any westerly winds.

Oops, just glanced quickly at what he had decoded and did not verify. There is a likelyhood of TS force winds near the strong convection.

My mistake..further south 2.2 degrees and further east 1.7 degrees..

Thanks for the info but posting raw recon is of little help. Please post the decoded information. Very few people know how to read the raw data. I will be happly to supply you with a decoder if you need it otr anyone else for that matter.
