Hot and humid with a 40% chance of rain. Planes will be departing normally. Enjoy the trip.

Looks like a deep trof along the east coast and a weak frontal boundary across the northern FL peninsula for Thursday. That means plenty of instability and daytime tstms likely. No big deal, just something interesting to look at out the window. I love to watch thunderstorms from the air.

Thanks, wxman57. Saw a big lightening show last Friday night flying into Tampa from the NW. Impressive, but I prefer calm.

Thunderstorms from the air are especially impressive. Last year I saw a whole squall line of storms with excessive lightning in the distance at night to the right of the aircraft as we flew back from Vegas to Baltimore. We were over Kansas City while the storms were down into Arkansas and into parts of southeastern Missouri.

On the way back from Florida a few weeks back, we flew by thunderstorms, some with wind damage and possible tornadoes. Definitely a beautiful sight from the air if you fly around those. Flying into them is a whole different animal.
