Current Track

I sure wish SOFLA was in the center of that cone right now because that generally proves to be a great place to be as systems develop. Anotherwards, 5 days out the systems are rarely where the center of the cone was.

Well if this ends up being a pattern through the Caribbean and into the GOM..with the frontal action we have had lately going into fall..umm yeah things are going to get dicey..beyond Charlie..

I don't know why, but I have a bad feeling about TD3 and South Florida.

It is too early to say whether TD3 will bother us here in South Fl, that's for sure. But so far the pattern this season seems very similar to the pattern the last couple of seasons. In that, I mean we've seen a lot of low-latitude waves and systems that make it past FL to the S and then end up recurving on a gradual curve into the N GOMEX or NE FL -- rather than curving sooner and threatening SOFLA. We'll see, but again, based on recent patterns and models at this early time, I think this will likely pass us by to the S and then W. In 2-3 days, we'll know much more, though.

Bryan Norcross the Miami area met who became famous for his coverage of Andrew(for those who don't know)said on his newscast that this system will turn N & possibly NE @ some point.Question is where will it be when it makes that turn. He's got a ??? for this weekends forecast here in Miami.
