Well if cold fronts are going to start to move in early and kill the cane season for us here in Texas at least they could do is cool us down a bit!

According to Dale Nelson we're supposed to see 90 degrees on Saturday -- y'all have to admit that for us that is fall not summer. I don't think we've seen 100 yet this year(not including heat index)

Ok then I attribute the whole darn thing to global cooling!

It may not be fall weather in south Texas, but it certainly is here in Georgia...

The past four days have averaged a low temperature of 61° and high of 82° here in west metro Atlanta (more like late September)...with dewpoints in the 50's. The morning low of 57° degrees at my location on Saturday is the lowest temp I've ever observed during the first half of August...and I've been a weather observer since 1974.

This next trough is progged to almost as strong as the last one....unusually deep for August. Morning lows are forecast around 60° in this area over the weekend...near record lows for this time of year.

Just imagine what kind of temperatures we would be seeing if this was winter right now!
