Channel 8 in Tampa

#1 Postby scogor » Tue Aug 10, 2004 10:10 pm

Leads with Bonnie and Charley, shows a graphic with a category 2 cane basically on top of Tampa Bay sometime on Friday and has Steve Jervie reminding us all that these tracks can and will change. Not what I would describe as a "call to action" that would send the average viewer running to complete (or more likely start) his or her hurricane preparedness plan. When will we ever learn??

Channel 10 with Dick Fletcher pointed out that it is definitely gonna affect us. 12-14 ft storm surge. He is expressing alot of confidence in the nhc forecast bringing it here Friday night.
