Why Bonnie and Charley might collide!...
I just reviewed all of the models...All of them show Charley coming up behind Bonnie and pushing her Northward.. Both storms will probably be behind each other while they go northward.... There is even a possibility of both of the storms COLLIDING and becoming a huge storm.. The NOGAPS and UK MET are hinting this very possible scenario... Stay tuned for the latest forecasts for both storms..... I will have a forecast track for both storms out by 8:15AM....

They merge a few hundred miles off the coast of Western Florida and become a huge storm and skirt up the Eastern Seaboard.... http://bricker.met.psu.edu/trop-cgi/ukm ... =Animation
I think that there is a very possible chance of this scenario playing out according to the UKMeT....

LOL...... The bad thing is that this actually COULD HAPPEN!!!! The storms are going to pass very close to each other anyways... Bonnie has to get moving or there could be a very large hurricane moving up the eastern seaboard!!!!...... Pay attention to the local Mets.., Sometimes they will pick up strange scenarios...Like this!!....

Sorry, you simply don't have a grasp of the tropical cyclone-to-cyclone intereaction.
A great deal of rain could result in some locations from both storms, as I've pointed out, tropical systems really don't "collide" and intereaction between two systems never results in a combo system that's stronger than either one of the two component systems.

Sorry.... Just translating what the UKMET says...

Even if this doesn't happen.... Both of the storms will come in very close proximity of each other....

LOL.....Dark Night I see your a fan of doomsday SciFi flicks. You think its time to go out and contact the makers of the Perfect Storm & tell them you have the new script for "The Perfect Storm: PTII-Southern Style"?
I am joking around with you, don't get mad, who knows anything can happen we are short here on a long old planet, there are many things we haven't seen or have facts about.
