CNN just broke the news but no more details now but later we will know more about this explosion near the Sheraton hotel there.

Kuwait police confirms it was a missele from Iraq that landed in the water 100 meters from the mall.

So Iraq still has those Al-Samund ones to throw but I hope that they dont have anymore to throw at Israel because Israel will retaliate and then this will go very bad.

Actually JQ...I saw this on FOX NEWS at 4:45pm central time (5:45 eastern) and then saw it a few minutes later on CNN and MSNBC. Fox News was already talking about it when I put in on there at 4:45 so I'm not sure exactly what time they broke the story.

I'll take Fox News over CNN or MSNBC any day!

By the way, Adam Housely of Fox News was the first Western reporter on the scene of the explosion. He has fantastic pictures.

No wonder I'm a Fox Fan!

Thank God there's no reported injuries! Let's pray it stays that way!

From the early pictures there doesn't seem to be much damage. With no casualties this is more of a blow to to the Kuwaiti piece of mind than anything else.

Gale I was changing channels at 5:45 EST when I saw Wolf Blitzer from Kuwait city talking about the explosion but the important thing is not what network broke it first but the important thing is that Iraq still has misseles to fire to his neighbors.

Marshall the troubleling thing is that there were no sirens that were heard before the missele landed and that will make the Kuwaties nervous.

Yes cycloneye, I agree.

But when I saw JQ saying that Fox News hadn't covered it at all nearly an hour after I saw it on Fox News, I just wanted to set the record straight.

You'd think I took it personally, huh?
