Can we not loop at NHC site

#1 Postby Derek Ortt » Wed Aug 11, 2004 9:36 am

the bandwidth is making things hard. We tried to do a loop here at the office and COULD NOT COMPLETE IT. Please, if you're not a met, dont run excessive loops

Sorry Derek, taxpayers are paying for it so they can have access to it.

If you need the data, get it yourself just like everyone else. I cannot comprehend why you would make such a post.

Again ill say bull to this post just like i did to smokins request

People pay their money for this stuff, and by all means they/we are going to use it. ABSOLUTELY NO reason why it should be for only pros/mets

Find another site, get it another way, but just deal with it

Not to mention the fact that there are a zillion other weather sites and forums and chats and groups. It wouldn't help much to tell US to stop using it, when you'd still have to get the word out to all those other people.

No problem here. It may be your computer or server.

Derek, this is not communist or dictatorship goverment. We are free to obtain and use the avaiable data and instruments that were pay for through our tax dollars. It's our fault alone whether or not we misinterpet that info. The government is not to blame or held responsible.

If you have problems with the satellite loop then that is your problem alone and we should not have stop using it, because you think you have more knowledge of the weather than the rest of us.
