after C hits FL
once is crosses FL, does anyone see this going to the Atlantic and striking east coast?

Talk about a premature prediction. It's not a done deal yet and who knows Florida may luck out and Charly may go out to sea.
Though somehow I feel if that happens a few on this board may be dissapointed. I'm sorry if I offended anyone by stating that but it's true.

Charley is not going out to sea. It's gonna hit someone...It is unavoidable. That is not an option....someone is going to get clobbered.

I agree. the one sure thing is it goes east of the Appalachians. Combine this with the cool air and you got a lot of rain. If it tracks far enough east to feed on the gulf stream...then you have even more rain and some wind.

That's what I'm concerned about AFM. I'm in the DC area and it looks like both storms are going to track east of the Apps.
