I looked for the one I viewed recently that would interest you, which is a CAT 4-5 storm coming in from the SE between Lake Borgne and the Mississippi River Delta...but can't find it in a brief lunch break Google. Here is one that depicts Hurricane Betsy, the modern-day local benchmark storm, and the estimated storm surge and wind field. Wasn't a pretty sight then, in the more rural, less congested, higher elevated Louisiana of 1965...just imagine today.goodlife wrote:oh thanks...that would be cool....I'd like to see that again.
