They just showed what would happen if a CAT 5 hit Tampa... :roll:
Including the 30 foot storm surge....like they don't have enough to think about... :grr:

Yeow..Thats likely to get few freaked.. :eek: TWC has been doing a pretty good job of talking about these tropical systems..

While the extreme case may be a little much, it is worth mentioning that they have changed in recent years to only even attempting to evacuate the flood zones in the event of a big storm. Kinda scary when you look are the areas that would be flooded out by a major storm surge.

I know I would not plan to ride out a major storm in my house here even though I am no longer in an evacuation zone. (they finally figured out that there was no way to get everyone out of the area)
