I have been checking things out here since gopbi.com's board went wacko, but never registered til y'all asked us to do so today. I really do appreciate all the hard work of the administrators and the insight of the message posters. I can't see me posting much, unless it's a question here or there, due to a lack of meteorological knowledge and a busy work schedule with 2 jobs. But I love learning! :)

An associated question would be: How are you finding the sites that are affiliated with Storm2K?

I remember last year I was looking for information on the hurricane forecast model. From there I was led to WREL model maps and I found the link to storm2k from there.

I found this board via Hurricane Hollow, which I accidentally found last year when looking for Barometer Bob of Abaco, Bahamas fame.

HurricaneTrack referral as well...

I've been following that site for a couple of years and am glad to have found my way here. I live in Houston, but grew up in NW Texas near Lubbock and have always been something of a weather head, keeping up with weather in Tornado Alley. Lots of great comments here. Neat to see the vast experience of the folks who post. I'm sure I'll learn a lot.

Great site.

Hi, ColdFront! I believe it was the HIRT site that led me here (hurricanetrack.com).

Love your stats!

Found it by accident tracking Charley. My grandmother lives in Cape Coral and I was afraid she wouldnt leave, did a hurricane track search and stumbled into here.
