A good reminder. I was there... Yes, most of SE FL was caught by surprise. Fortunately because of Irene, I think many in SE Florida are taking Charley more seriously even though the forecast is saying "Tampa and North"

Just a question, What makes Irene and Charley so different? What made Irene turn sooner than Charley? I am a big time novice and trying to figure it out so bear with me :wink:
