Just wanted to get new opinions on
1. Whether or not my friend and his family will be able to fly into Orlando tomorrow afternoon.
2. Is it a good idea to still go
3. If they do arrive tomorrow afternoon, what kind of weather can they expect in Orlando?

I would avoid Orlando like the plague right now, besides having to possibly deal with hurricane force winds sometime tomorrow, many evacuees will be heading that direction, also, disney will most likely close at some point tomorrow (I think they have to close if winds are forecasted above 50mph).... cancel your trip go another week...

They closed after 9/11, right?

I wouldn't go to Disney during a storm. As much as I LOVE Disney World, it just wouldn't be fun riding the rides or trying to see the tours during heavy winds, downpours, and power outages. Just think -- riding Thunder Mountain with little pellets of rain piercing your skin or climbing the Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse with winds blowing you around? Not worth it and not fun, IMO. :)

Yeah...then you get to the top of one of the rides and the power goes out and they have forgotten to charge the emergency generators. Fun!

Will they close disneyworld completly is the question because if they do plenty of $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ would be lost for them.

Especially with all the lightning flashing around you while atop an inoperable ride...oh, that sounds like so much fun... Add in the high winds and heavy soaking rain, and it would be a hoot...

Mike Seidel was mentioning earlier this morning about all the lightning they had prior to the tropical system I guess.

I saw when Mike mentioned that this morning. I think he was referring to it specifically because of the fact that they usually dont have much lightning, and as such, was an indication Bonnie had begun the extra-tropical transition before even making landfall.
