80-90 Mph winds. Daytona Evacuation officals think so.

St Johns and Duval aren't closed
Mrs. Chad......St Johns and Duval county schools aren't closed for tomorrow. The "eye" or what's left of it is supposed to come right over us, but not till late late Fri night, or early Sat morning. But still they say the weather could start deteriorating with rain and high gusts as early as 4:00pm. I would think in the thought of safety, and keeping traffic off the roads, they would keep our schools closed.

Wonder how much notice they have to give to close the schools? I live in NE FL (near Jax), and am wondering if they could decide to do it in the morning - like with the 5 am advisories?
Oh - and I'm a newbie here. Followed the link from HurricaneTrack - so 'hi y'all!'
