Remnants of Bonnie-- Sign of Charley future?

#1 Postby Guest » Thu Aug 12, 2004 9:17 pm

Much more consolidated than I thought it would be and not interacting with the stalled front as much because it's farther to the east than expected. Forecast was WAY OFF with track., Greatly reducing flood threat from Va north.. Charley could very well take the same route after lanfall.

Bonnie was poorly organized this morning, hence the change in track. Charley is about as good as it gets. He would be more likely to keep with the forecasted track.

which is the same track that Bonnie's currently on!!! Bonnie didn't go inland that much and we're getting swamped here tonight. If Charley follows, Charleston will flood!
