Anyone catch the final Last Coming Standing tonight?

#1 Postby Guest » Thu Aug 12, 2004 9:03 pm

I wasn't too impressed with the comics tonight. I guess they figured the competition was over, lol. And maybe they started running out of material? Tuesday was good though. John Heffron blew Alonzo and Gary away that night. I knew if people based their final decision on Tuesday's performance, John would win. But I thought Alonzo had a good chance too though because he had been strong throughout the entire competition. Anyways, congrats to John. He is hilarious!

Jen - you mean to tell me you're thinking about something besides Charley? LOL Shhhh, I won't tell Chad you started this thread.....

Just kidding with ya...sorry didn't watch. Can't help you out. My family actually allowed me to have TWC on - a lot. Without smirks, groans or eyerolls (you see their dad/grandfather has a condo in the Tampa Bay area). So they have an interest in this part of Florida I guess.

I've had Charley on the brain nonstop. I'm as ready as I can be. So now we wait. The show was a nice comic relief. ;) You don't even know how many phone calls I fielded today from friends and family wanting updates on Charley and what they should do. It's been a CRAZY day.

I liked John Heffron as well.. I watched the end of it, cause we went out to dinner... but I saw him win... I love him, he reminds me of Bobcat! I didnt get to watch the weather channel, cause I dont have cable (but I will tomorrow!) My hubby hates the weather channel, he calls it a "screensaver".. When ever there is nothing on, and the tv is on, the weather channel is on... Hes goofy... He says if you wanna see what the weather is doing, go outside... he just doesnt understand!

Sigh, my husband doesn't understand either. He always says - if you want to know what the wx is like, just look out the window. Yeah Jim that works great for say folks right now in the Tampa area huh? Look honey, waves are kicking up, let's go surfing, etc. See perfect example of why stations such as TWC are vital! LOL Jeff Morrow's live feed a half hour ago - you could hardly tell a Hurricane was looming south of him, ready to strike later today? Window forecasting - no way!
