59° in Beaumont Texas - Strange Friday the 13th in August!

I can't believe how chilly it is this morning! I've never felt temperatures this low in August before. I think 61° was the record.....before I was born.

i know people that had there furnaces on last night....this is nuts...i just heard that Sparta, WI --South West WI had a low of 37....this is NUTZ! I have a feeling if this pattern stays the same, which if you've look at the ECMWF 7 DAY it looks like another slam of cold air is coming down mid-late next week, then were going to have a very early frost and thats going to batter corn and soybeans 000 my area is covered in corn and corn fields....we've hit 90 once this summer....

Weatherbug says we hit 57 last night! This is just incredible...the previous all time record low for August for 58. I know Charley is getting all the attention but this is a truly remarkable autumn outbreak! We're talking October weather in mid August and I'm loving it.
