Damage report - OSC County - ~2miles from circulation center

#1 Postby Talon402 » Sat Aug 14, 2004 7:23 am

Reporting from southwest Kissimmee, just a few miles from where the circulation center passed - Cent. FL media reporting widespread loss of tree canopy, power out for all of Osceola County (70,000) people, power also out for much of Central FL, not many injury reports from the Tri County area yet, many rural roads blocked, they're trying to clear the main roads now. Lots of small to moderate damage to area roofs, with shingles blown, trees on the roofs, exposed framework, etc.

Reporting off of a laptop, with a power inverter for the car.

Will post later.
