I don't the media downplayed this storm at all. There are very few people who don't have a television, a phone, or at least get a newspaper and there were warnings for this storm days in advance.

I live on the Treasure Coast of Florida, my area wasn't even in the cone area and we still prepared even though our strike chances were nil. Anyone who didn't take heed was being extremely unresponsible.

Little old ladies or not - they should have still evacuated.
