10 News Extra: Child removed from family because she was loved too much
An aunt and uncle have lost their fight to keep custody of a child who's almost two years old.
She was removed from her mother, placed in foster care and then placed with the aunt and uncle.
Now, she's going back to foster care because of what the aunt and uncle did, they loved her too much.
Judge Frank Gomez says the little girl’s aunt and uncle loved the two-year-old too much and did not belong with the family.

Not surprised...
Sadly, I am NOT surprised by this story. Florida is the most f..(well you know) in regards to child welfare. One of my friends is a foster/adoptive parent, and through her I have seen the most atrocious events. She has an 11 year old boy who was raped and further sexually abused by both of his parents and various others the parents allowed to use him. With EXTREME strictness, and with help of many psychiatrists, she has made this child able to live in "normal" society, but there is always an under current of hate and violence (can you blame him). Here's the kicker...he has been with her for over 2 years, and my friend is willing to risk everything to adopt this boy and make him legally her son,as she has done with two others. But the Florida Children and Families Services has to appoint lawyer after lawyer (at tax payer expense) so the parents can fight to their last appeal, their rights to this boy!! I wonder why the parents aren't INCARCERATED???? The boy gave detailed descriptions of his abuse, and our great state of Florida keeps trying to send him back!!!!! Anyway, the sad truth is,this boy will still probably end up hurting or killing someone....how can you fix a child that has been sexually abused since the age of 2?? Please add my extraordinary friend and her family to your prayers!!
Thanks!
