How about, I do not think it is coming to FL. That is the best you can get right now.

Model Runs Cheat Sheet:
GFS (5:30 AM/PM, 11:30 AM/PM)
HWRF, GFDL, UKMET, NAVGEM (6:30-8:00 AM/PM, 12:30-2:00 AM/PM)

If one were to take the models implications, Florida is not in any danger, BUT, it is still way to early to make ANY bold statements.

The only model that takes it to FL is the ukmet which i don't trust at all.

I think storms have a funny way of following in the wake of other storm paths. That's just me, so you know what...I'm in the Panhandle and I'm getting ready right now. I'll take nothing for granted. (I personally believe that once a pattern is set, it's set, and we're really just getting started with the storm season).

I don't think it will, but this season has been a strange one. Anything is possible.

I really hope FL is spared this one but I really hope it does not come my way either. I don't know what to hope for except that he dissapates which may not happen. Since I have become more mature and have more to lose (11 month old grandchild) I really don't want to experience firsthand the effects of a hurricane at my home and don't want to have to return to the devastation.

Doubt we'll see Earl here in FL.

this troughness that we have seen in the gom for the last month and is still there today, has taken up residence there. Don't discount it. However, if Earl stays on more of a westerly course, trough is less likely to pick him up.
