Something different

#1 Postby WeatherEmperor » Sun Aug 15, 2004 7:36 pm

Hey guys,

I know alot of us right now are really depressed about the events of Charley and all so I thought I would do something to keep our minds off that by asking a little question. We all know that the hurricane hunters and the NOAA G-IV jet use dropsondes and all but how much do you think a single dropsonde costs? I have always wondered how much money is spent on those things. Any clue?
