Robbery Suspect Arrested With Hot Money, Hotter Pants

POSTED: 12:23 p.m. EST March 28, 2003

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- It was hot money and even hotter pants

Police in Columbus, Ohio, say bank robbery suspect John Gladney shoved some stolen money downs his pants. But the bills had an exploding dye pack.

The packet exploded in a very sensitive area, leaving Gladney walking gingerly. :shocked!: :shocked!: :shocked!: :shocked!: :shocked!:

Police say the suspected bandit was in obvious pain when they stopped him about a block away from the National City Bank.

He's been charged with aggravated robbery.
