Closet(s) Construction Zone Ahead...DETOUR >>>>

#1 Postby Skywatch_NC » Mon Aug 16, 2004 2:54 pm

Hi ya Storm2KBuds, :)

Please remember my family this week...starting Thursday August 19th through Thursday Sept. 2nd...as we have a fella from our church and his brother build 6 closets in our townhouse...one on the top floor and 5 down here...my bedroom and in the family room areas!

I have allergies and dust (namely this time around ALOT of sawdust!)...well my eyes often get irritated since living in this townhouse...I've tried Cholyrium...and other eye rinse...even eye drops to cleanse my eyes for temporary relief. :(

It will be nice to have alot more space for storage...but over a period of 11 working (week day) days...anyway I'll be on my Dad's computer during the days some here and other wx sites I'm a part of. My own bedroom...well, it and some areas will be a real dust TRAP for awhile! My computer station will be covered over and protected from the sawdust invasion!

I'll be 'lodging' in my nephew's bedroom during this time. :) He and his sister have their own bedrooms for when they come to visit Grandpa, Grandma and Uncle Eric. :)

I hope you don't get too affected by the dust, but like Ed said, it'll be worth it in the long run! :D

eric, once you get the closets done, you will be one happy camper. My uncle has a closet construction business, so I know what you are going through.

I would love to have all of our closets reorganized. Each one has the simple white metal shelving. And one is a walkin - a complete waste of space. I try to get Jim enthused about this project - we are the DIY type - but he won't bite. I guess I could try it myself.....geez, I don't know. Home Depot makes any home remodeling project sound simple but I'm not exactly good at this stuff. Sure would be nice to have it done for us though - so in the end Eric you will be glad it's done. Hope your allergies don't act up too much.

Thank you, Shannon and Mary! :D

Got a call yesterday evening on our answering machine while the folks and I were eating out saying that our closet builders won't be starting until Monday Aug. 23rd due to an outdoor concrete project for another customer that's had some rain delays of late from late last week through the weekend.

We've got things moved around and out of their way in preparation in my bedroom and the family room. :)
