East Atlantic Wave

It may well have a very weak low embedded but tonight the convection is not solid at this point.Let's see as the wave moves westward thru the tropical atlantic if it gains convection and begins the proccess of organization but for now it will move west in a rapid pace yes another wave moving at 20kts now and the trend continues for the waves to track fast.

Those who may think that Danielle and the wave are close to then interact not the case as Danielle is around 800 miles to the NW of the wave so no interaction.

This morning the wave looks pathetic with not too much convection.It has to gain plenty of convection before we can say it has a chance to develop.

If it develped it would probally follow its girlfriend on a North Atlantic cruise.. Now it will continue west.

Yes the convection is more now than in the past 24 hours but still it has to organize with a surface low but as the wave moves more westward it can improve in organization but it will be a slow proccess.

Beware not only AVN has this moving toward the Leeward Is. now the GFDL is on the bus. N.Leeward Is. your run of luck might be over.

It could make the Leewards by Friday. My grid is huge but it looks like the forward speed has been around 30 mph and these waves have been slowing some as they move west.

The wave has flared up nicely today after looking pathetic last night and early this morning.But it needs a surface low to get going so for now the watch game is on for it.

For those who may see the wave with deep convection and looking good do not look only at the convection but see if you see a good rotation with that convection.So far this wave has a weak MLC but no LLC.That is why no invest has been up for it so far but as soon a low at the surface is detected they will issue 96L.

What makes you say that? It is still moving west and the trough that caught Danielle is no longer digging. The wave is too far away to be caught in it, so another one would have to dig at some point to get it out of there. Doesn't look to happen anytime soon.
