A couple of days ago, I realized something that I think I have to voice and ask an opinion of. In fact, I'm going to make it a poll.
Before the time that my father had his heart episodes, I would occasionally, at least 3 times a week experience a jarring pain or twitch in my chest area ... This is very unusual, considering the health of my heart is about damn near perfect, even though I still smoke. I, do, however, have some rib cage pains on occasion as well, but that's not important.
After my father's heart/arteries were cleared 3 weeks ago with the balloons. I've noticed that since that time, I no longer experience the all of the sudden, out of nowhere, jarring chest pains that last momentarily.
I also had felt that before this time, that the problems he was having with arm pains, and chest tightening before all this was something deeper than just fatigue (as another doctor had diagnosed. I would like to have a few choice words for that SOB).
This isn't the only time that this "coincidence" occurred. How about the time that an overwhelming sense of dispair while I was at work. A couple of hours later, my father, stepmother, and my two stepbrothers were on their way back home from Columbia, when I got a phone call at work, that someone pulled out from the emergency lane on I-26 near where I-26/I-95 intersect, and that car hit my parents' car. The bumper got locked up with the front wheel, and sent the car spinning out of control and off the interstate into the median where it ended up slamming into a tree (the trunk of the car)... Everyone suffered minor injuries. Had I not been working, I would have been on this trip as well, and I would have possibly been killed. (where I normally would have sat, something punctured through the backseat and would have likely skewered me through my back)

I voted "not sure". I have heard stories about twins feeling each other's pains even if they are many miles apart, but I haven't a psychic connection personally.

I dont believe in physcic connections, but without a doubt agree with a spiritual connection. I do think our spirits do become kindred with people we are close to. I have had numerous occasions where I have "sensed" something was up with my Mom, and visa-versa. I think we become tuned into someone else's senses the closer you are to them. JMHO.

I am an identical twin. We have a very strong connection. When we were children she broke her leg. My leg started throbbing too as soon as she broke it. Even as adults, when she has a problem I can feel it. I let her borrow my car and she wrecked it. When the phone rang I KNEW it was her and I answered the phone without a hello but immediately asked her if she was okay!! She never questioned that and answered my question.
May seem strange, but true.
