DETROIT, Aug. 20 (UPI) -- Customs agents have seized $2.4 million concealed in a tractor-trailer truck heading from Canada to Texas across Detroit's Ambassador Bridge.
The haul was the largest cash seizure ever from a truck at a border crossing.
WDIV-TV in Detroit reported that the cash found Wednesday included $1.9 million in envelopes bundled in boxes marked as bottled water. The rest of the money was behind a refrigerator in the cab.
The driver told Customs and Immigration officers at the bridge that he was carrying a load of aluminum blanks. He was arrested and investigators are now trying to determine what he was planning to do with the money.

The worst part about that southerngale is that it only would of postponed their plans. I'm sure we would all be surprised at how little this stop would have affected them. It is the same as drugs, you can make as many stops as possible, but you most likely will never stop the drugs from coming in. It is a nearly impossible task.
