favorable in next day or two for Caribbean wave:

TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK
NWS TPC/NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER MIAMI FL
530 PM EDT SAT AUG 21 2004

FOR THE NORTH ATLANTIC...CARIBBEAN SEA AND THE GULF OF MEXICO...

THE REMNANTS OF DANIELLE ARE LOCATED ABOUT 900 MILES WEST-SOUTHWEST
OF THE AZORES AND ARE MOVING SLOWLY WESTWARD. THERE ARE NO SIGNS
OF RE-DEVELOPMENT. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON THIS SYSTEM CAN BE
FOUND IN HIGH SEAS FORECASTS ISSUED BY THE NATIONAL WEATHER
SERVICE...UNDER AWIPS HEADER NFDHSFAT1 AND WMO HEADER FZNT01 KWBC.

CLOUDINESS AND THUNDERSTORMS ASSOCIATED WITH A TROPICAL WAVE
CONTINUE IN THE CENTRAL CARIBBEAN SEA HAVE. THERE ARE NO SIGNS OF
ORGANIZATION AT THIS TIME. HOWEVER...UPPER-LEVEL WINDS ARE
FORECAST TO BECOME A LITTLE MORE FAVORABLE FOR DEVELOPMENT DURING
THE NEXT DAY OR TWO AS THE SYSTEM MOVES WESTWARD OVER THE WESTERN
CARIBBEAN.

A TROPICAL WAVE BETWEEN THE CAPE VERDE ISLANDS AND THE COAST OF
AFRICA SHOWS NO SIGNS OF TROPICAL CYCLONE FORMATION AT THIS TIME.
HOWEVER...THERE IS A POTENTIAL FOR DEVELOPMENT DURING THE NEXT FEW
DAYS AS THE TROPICAL WAVE MOVES WESTWARD.

ELSEWHERE...TROPICAL STORM FORMATION IS NOT EXPECTED THROUGH
SUNDAY.

FORECASTER BEVEN

Yeah, I'm kinda surprised the S2Kers haven't chimed in yet on what might happen with this wave. Maybe everyone is hungover from Charley .
