TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK
NWS TPC/NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER MIAMI FL
1030 PM EDT SUN AUG 22 2004

FOR THE NORTH ATLANTIC...CARIBBEAN SEA AND THE GULF OF MEXICO...

THE REMNANTS OF DANIELLE ARE LOCATED ABOUT 900 MILES WEST-SOUTHWEST
OF THE AZORES AND ARE DRIFTING NORTHWARD. THERE ARE NO SIGNS OF
RE-DEVELOPMENT.

CLOUDINESS AND THUNDERSTORMS ASSOCIATED WITH A TROPICAL WAVE A FEW
HUNDRED MILES SOUTH-SOUTHWEST OF THE CAPE VERDE ISLANDS SHOW SOME
EVIDENCE OF ORGANIZATION. THIS SYSTEM HAS THE POTENTIAL
FOR DEVELOPMENT OVER THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS AS IT MOVES WESTWARD.

ELSEWHERE...TROPICAL STORM FORMATION IS NOT EXPECTED THROUGH
TUESDAY.

Well, keep on it because I have to fly to the states for a funeral Thursday and I trust you all to keep me informed. As it is, I'll be hurricane packing my house before leaving, and hoping it is all in vain.
