TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK...CORRECTED
NWS TPC/NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER MIAMI FL
530 AM EDT TUE AUG 24 2004

...DAY OF THE WEEK...WEDNESDAY

FOR THE NORTH ATLANTIC...CARIBBEAN SEA AND THE GULF OF MEXICO...

SATELLITE IMAGES INDICATE THAT THE THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY ASSOCIATED
WITH A STRONG TROPICAL WAVE CENTERED ABOUT 575 MILES WEST-SOUTHWEST
OF THE CAPE VERDE ISLANDS IS GRADUALLY INCREASING AND BECOMING
BETTER ORGANIZED. CONDITIONS APPEAR TO BE FAVORABLE FOR A TROPICAL
CYCLONE TO FORM LATER TODAY OR WEDNESDAY AS THE SYSTEM MOVES
WESTWARD AT 15 MPH.

SHOWER ACTIVITY ASSOCIATED WITH THE REMNANTS OF DANIELLE IS VERY
LIMITED. UPPER-LEVEL WINDS ARE UNFAVORABLE FOR REDEVELOPMENT.

ELSEWHERE...TROPICAL STORM FORMATION IS NOT EXPECTED THROUGH
WEDNESDAY.
