that's remarkable
In the latest visible loops it almost looks like an eye feature along 10N moving due west in 96L. It sort of pops up then disappears. Don't shoot me for noticing; I realize eyes only appear on hurricanes... and TS Bonnie. Anyone else see this?[/url]

Looks rather odd
Yes- I see it too. Who knows, right? Maybe the whole physics of tropical cyclones is undergoing a change. We've seen some strange things this season so far- and it's still August.

Yes I got an image of it.
It sure looked like a eye.It isn't just hurricanes that form eyes, very strong depressions hae also been known to form eyes, the great storm of 1987 that hit the U.k also had a eye, look at the top very closely and you'll see a small dark circle and the swirling rainbands:

What you are probably seeing is a collapsing thunderstorm that happens to be right at the center of circulation of the system. This phenomenon will often open up a hole like that in otherwise dense cloud masses. And yes it does look remarkably like an eye has formed, but we all know it hasn't since we don't even have a tropical storm at this point.
