Many of those who visit us in Scottsdale are impressed with the giant wall mural sculptures along our freeways...I mean these things are pieces of art with lizards as long as trucks!!
Check them out!

Geez, which hometown do I pick?? hee hee...OK , my "current" hometown will do, I guess...
Temecula Ca is nestled between 2 mountain ranges, one that goes into the dessert, and one that divides us from the ocean/beach area...we're in a valley, but still have many hills and mountains...there is nothing flat about Temecula!
Temecula is famous for its WINE COUNTRY! There are about 60 different wineries here, and they are absolutely beautiful...if you see a temecula wine at your store, pick one up and try it...you'll most likely be delighted. We live on the fringe of the wine country...its absolutely gorgeous out here!
Temecula is also known for it's abundance of hot air balloons. If we look east, every morning around 6:30am, we'll see a number of hot air ballooons floating in th sky...
Its a very white collar town...having just been incorporated in the 80's...it's the cleanest, most well manicured town as a whole that I've ever been in...the median house price is so high, that its presently the highest median home town in all of California...now thats saying alot! You want a starter home? Try 375-450 k! No exageration there!
We do have whats called "Old Town", a very vintage area of Temcula filled with antique shops, restaraunts, day spas, etc...as far back as 10 years ago, you could ride your horse through Temecula, into Old Town, and tie your horse up to a hitching post...
Temecula is a great place to live, full of wonderful people all doing the same thing you are, wanting the same safe envirement for their children, etc...LOVE IT HERE!

It can get very busy here in the summer. The population is 125,000
I love my city though, has a beautiful lake and a lot of park land. Tons of shopping too![]()
Here is a webcam shot of my city, as you can see, its partly cloudy today...
Nice live images!!

BTW, the City of Irving is sandwiched between 2 major cities, Dallas and Ft. Worth, eventhough Irving is more in the Dallas County area.
It also has a Texas Stadium. Hopefully, they'll keep the stadium for High School Football playoffs if the Dallas Cowboys decide to move.
Irving also owns the Las Colinas Territory. Some people were hoping that area would become an individual city, like that'll ever happened.
Irving ISD has been given a Recognized rating for the teachers' excellent work, and for 1/2 the students in all Middle and High Schools are in an gifted/talented/honors program.
More info to come.
