Area South of Bermuda???

Area South of Bermuda???
I could be just seeing things but the area to the South of Bermuda seems to be getting a little better organized this morning. If this spins up into something what effect will it have on the future track of Frances. We are here in South Florida watching and hoping for a hole in the ridge!!! Go fishing Frances!!!

Yes, it is slowly becoming better organized. Organized enough to be called a tropical depression...that could happen as early as the 5pm advisory.
I'm starting to think that if the system does develop and strengthens significantly (hurricane), then it could create a weakness in the ridge and allow Frances to maintain its WNW-NW track for a while longer until the ridge to the north forces it westward. That could mean a higher-latitude storm moving westward that could come close to Northern Florida or Georgia/South Carolina. Also, if it develops great anticyclonic outflow (system south of Bermuda), it could impinge on the strengthening of Frances until it moves away.
These are interesting possibilities that cannot be discounted as of this time. Stay tuned...
