Its the SW quadrant. Is that the strongest in the storm or have they not gotten to the NE quadrant yet?

Looking at the long range radar out of Charlestown SC reveals that TS Gaston is becoming better organized. Gaston appears to be drifting to the north. I believe that Gaston has a good shot a becoming a hurricane tomorrow as he nears the NC-SC area.....MGC

idk... the models are pointing him closer and closer to the DC area. He might pass over or east of DC, then east of PHL, and then exit around NYC. At least thats what I'm thinking.

First of all, its Charleston, SC lol..... Its still forecast to land very very close to me within 5 mile range, and lots of wind and rain forecast, not a good situation.

Well, if you haven't looked at IR of Gaston recently, he is now developing an eye feature! this one could be stronger than minimal cat 1 now at landfall in my opinion.. maybe even a minimal cat 2.

Gulf Stream moves new warm water in at 5-6 mph just feeding this soon to be cane. Historically these have been challenging to estimate intensity it seems.

Sorry about the spelling stormtrack. I spent two weeks at the Naval Station there the year after Hugo. Still had some damage evident. Looks like a very windy rainy Sunday ahead for you. Good luck.....MGC
