Over development

No wonder we fear Hurricanes! The beaches and coastal area's continue to be over developed, why do humans lust coastal areas? In my opinion we should all live inland.... I've heard that the St. Joe timber company has sold several thousand acres of pristine coastal land in North Florida to developers back 2002.... I'm sure many orange growers affected by charley will have to sell their land to make up for lost profit.... Charley will benefit developers like the late 1980's freezes did....

Tell that to the folks in Wachula. I spent several days down there after Charley helping out and it looked as bad as any coastal area after a Hurricane.

So you think the coastal area's are not over-developed? Over-development is a problem everywhere in Florida....

Overdeveloped?

How come coastal communities always become overdeveloped AFTER you get your beachhouse?

It is only fully developed when I get mine and thereafter, all developement should cease and disist.
