Worse case can be if...
Frances stays south of Florida for a while and then heads north right up the middle of the state as a Cat 5, Now both sides of the state are affected.

Here is the absolutely worst case:
Frances, as a Cat. 5, stalls out in the Straits of Florida, exactly 120 miles from Key Largo, Miami, and We Be Joys in Broward. Channels 4,6, 7 and 10 go into full-blown 24/7 storm coverage. Charley was labeled "Catastrophe on the Coast," so this one will be "Foaming Frenzy of the Forecasters."
The storm then starts west again, enters Biscayne Bay, picks up a windsurfer and send the fiberglass blade through the dome of Containment Building #2 at the Turkey Point nuke plant. As radiation pours into the bay, rising winds upset several carts of fine tropical fruit outside Norman Brothers in South Miami. Ricky Williams reconsiders his previous reconsidering of whether to play with the Dolphins again.
Then, even worse case, the storm stalls, and instead of a buzzsaw, we get a soaker sitting over the community of Sweetwater, which, despite its name, is basically a giant septic drainfield built below mean high tide. As the camera zooms in on Jennifer Lopez exiting a Cigarette boat at American Airlines Arena outside the MTV music awards, a river of effluent crashes down Biscayne Boulevard and does more than ruin her hairdo.
This is the scenario that scares me the most, and right now I'm at the point of the NHC forecast track. Right now, that's probably good.

The truely worst case scenario is this.....
Those folks that killed the'selves out in California DID make contact with the spaceship in the comet. After hereing what was going on down here on earth, they decided to turn around, radio for re-enforcements and stage an invasion.
Now, they figure what with the new season of CSI starting up, no one's gonna pay attention to the weather...perfect. They'll use the storm for cover and slip their landing ship into the eyewall. (when the hurricane plane comes, they'll hit the cloaking device fer to hide 'em like)
Then, while everyone is evacuated or hunkering down with old copys of Friends on VHS, those dirty little green ba@#$%ds will hit the beach like a big old swarm of shinney, green, bug eyed space marines. Ray guns a blasten!
Now, because thems up in NY had done convnced Seth that all that gun stuff was uncivilized, he done turned 'em in last year for to take Candy Lynn to a Lakers game. So, now there's nothing to stand in their way...
Can you say....Mr. President Bahzeeboweezle?
Can you see Jim has been up for three nights straight now?
