12Z GEM - scary as H-E- Double Hockey Sticks

#1 Postby PurdueWx80 » Sun Aug 29, 2004 11:32 am

This morning's new run of the global Canadian model has Frances strengthening as she runs the entire east coast of FL from Miami to JAX. This would be sort of a Floydesque track, although the GEM implies it would be much closer, and in fact along, the coast. Image

If this forecast is true, this will be the most disastrous hurricane in human history. Have you imagine a Cat. 3 or 4 or more, just moving along the Florida coast? That will be devastating and I don't want to think about this possibility.

I do not know how people on this message board feels about The Weather Channel. Dr. Steve Lyons said that one out of the two senerios would take it to the Carolinas. I forgot what the other senerio was.

Say goodbye to the GA Coast. That scenario is bad.
