Avatars and signatures

Have they been turned off? Just wondering since mine aren't showing anymore. I figure they are because of the expected busy week with Frances.

I've noticed that this board has slowed to a crawl over the last several hours. And I'm not really surprised because more and more people will be reading as Frances gets closer.

Yep, the board will become even quiter as it nears land within the next week. The avatars and signatures have been turned off because of Frances and the expected server load.

Marshall turned off the Avatars and Signatures due to the influx of people watching the tropics with TS Gaston, TS Hermine and Hurricane Frances
