when they were Cat 5's?

And how does/will Frances potentially compare?

Floyd was not a 5. He was almost on September 13, 1999. With wnds of 155 mph.

i'm trying to find how floyd, francis and andrew stack up in size...and sure throw in Isabel too...

Floyd was absolutely huge. Andrew was tiny but he proved that size truly does not matter when it comes to a Tropical Cyclone.
